Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Contest Details: Each Open Mic Friday will also include a songwriter contest. Participation in the contest is voluntary. Single performers, duos, and trios are all welcome.
Any original songs you play may be considered. Contestants are encouraged to arrive by 7 and stay to the end. $2 suggested donation, or come early and help set up.
2 judges each regular date including the guest host and selected songwriters. Individual contest winners will receive a free ticket to a Hook show of their choice
(within that season), and will advance to the Playoff. A panel of celebrity judges will judge the playoffs. Playoff winners perform at the Oswego Music Hall Finale Showcase on May 1, 2019 Additional prizes, including luthier bench time, recording studio time, etc TBD.
