In this segment, we will be talking with Dr. Jennifer Olori, an Associate Professor of Biology at SUNY Oswego, and her research assistants. Dr. Olori is traijned as a paleontologist and teaches herpetolgy (the study of reptiles and amphibialns). Her long-term research at Rice Creel. in collaboration with other professors and students, examines the prevelance and dynamics of two amphibial diseases at Rice Creek: chytridiomycosis and ranavirus. If you've heard of massive amphibian die-offs in recent years, these are tow of the causes.
