Join the CNY Arts Center this Thursday at 6pm for a special evening of storytelling with events for both children and adults by husband-and-wife team Glenn “Gomez” and Kim Adams.
Award-winning broadcast journalist and radio personality Glenn “Gomez” Adams will be talking about his book, You’re Caller Number 7, Please Try Again, in the CNY Art Center’s debut Author Spotlight Book Club for Adults. The book delves into stories from his many years as a radio personality in Syracuse, with touches of both humor and tenderness. The discussion will be moderated by CNY Arts Center Board Member Tania Samson.
Simultaneously, retired elementary school teacher Kim Adams will be on-site to give a special reading to kids from her middle grade adventure novel, Bella and Nash: Our First Camping Trip, about two 9-year-old cousins on a trip to the Adirondacks with their grandfather. The Author Spotlight Kids Book Club will include a craft, as well as plenty of time to ask the author questions about her work.
Books can be picked up ahead of time at the CNY Arts Center or ordered online. Books purchased at the CNY Art Center have a discounted price of $12 for You’re Caller Number 7 and $9 for Bella and Nash.
Refreshments will be available for purchase during the book club.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to support local authors for both children and adults! This debut event is sponsored by Wildebeest Publishing.
