DESCRIPTION:OPTION ~ NO OPTION ™______________________Clear communication and understan
ding between dog and handler is key to a successful outcome during training
and real life situations. This informative workshop will teach participant
s how to clearly communicate to their dog what his options are in any speci
fic situation or environment. Dogs learn to look to their handlers for guid
ance and “permission” when deciding how to respond or react to changes in t
heir environment i.e. distractions such as other dogs or people. By providi
ng the dog with a finite number of acceptable options a handler puts the do
g in the position to make a decision that leads to a successful outcome for
both the dog and handler. This technique takes advantage of the dog’s indiv
idual motivations, making it a must have in every handlers and/or trainers
toolbox. Option ~ No Option™ has been successfully used and taught by Moniq
ue for years when working with dogs of all breeds and ages (puppies to adul
ts) including those labeled as high drive or temperamental. \nLearn to reco
gnize and understand:\n1. What you see in front of you & what you have\
ni.e. You always have something to bring the dog in the direction you,\nthe
handler, wants to go\n2. Where is your rewarding point\nI.e. What is the f
irst thing you are going to reward the dog for\n3. How to better communicat
e with your dog in a way he understands\n4. What’s on your dog’s mind\ni.e.
Recognize the difference between what your dog is “doing” behavior wise (w
hat you maybe seeing) vs where he is actually focused & where his inten
tions are (what you actually have)\nOption ~ No Option™ has been used succe
ssfully for:\nBehavior Modification\n- Moderating Arousal Levels\nReducing
reactivity toward other dogs and humans\nTeaching Foundational Skills\nTeac
hing Impulse Control\nTuition includes continental breakfast and lunch both
 days!\nLimited Working Spots ~ Unlimited Auditor Spots\n$275 Working Spot\
n$160 Auditor Spot\n \n \n\n This event was imported from: https://iloveosw
