 th grade boy with dyslexia, and Ed.D. Candidate in Curriculum, Teaching, Le
 ading &amp; Learning at Northeastern University.This event is being hosted 
 by Oswego High School. \nReading League members come from a large CNY area,
  so each event is located in a different region to accommodate the driving 
 distances fairly. A bonus to holding our summer event in Oswego is that you
  can arrive early and treat yourself to food and drink at Rudy's Lakeside D
 rive-In Diner (http://rudyshot.com/ (http://rudyshot.com/)) with a gorgeous
  view of the lake! This is a classic and delicious summer tradition!\nVERY 
 EXCITING is that our event is a "precursor" to an event being held on Augus
 t 12 by the Literacy Coalition of Oswego County (LCOC). LCOC will be hostin
 g renowned cognitive scientist and author Daniel Willingham as their keynot
 e speaker at this event. Perhaps you've read some of his articles in Americ
 an Educator..."Ask the Cognitive Scientist." His latest book, Raising Kids 
 Who Read, What Parents and Teachers Can Do, will be discussed at OUR event 
 as a way of getting prepared and excited (order it today for your knowledge
