Tis the season to gather with friends and family as we celebrate the holidays, and it's the perfect time to remember our fea thered and furred friends outside in the cold.
On Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm, the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center will hold th eir annual Wreaths for Wildlife event. Participants learn how to construct a beautiful evergreen wreath to hang outdoors, decorated with delicious edi ble treats for chickadees and cardinals, woodpeckers and squirrels, and oth er woodland friends as well. The wreaths make attractive, living holiday de corations for your door or yard. A story and slideshow, along with music, c ookies, and hot cocoa, will be part of our festivities.
The fee for t his program is just $14.00 per wreath, with a limit of two wreaths per fami ly. Advanced registration is required as space is limited. Please register by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Please bring a hammer and needl e-nosed or regular pliers, and garden or work gloves are recommended.
