 nowshoe? Better yet do you want to introduce your child to snowshoeing? Per
 haps you have never experienced it yourself. Perhaps its been years since y
 ou have and would like to experience it again, alongside your child(ren). W
 ell now is your chance! <br />We will be offering family friendly, introduc
 tions to snowshoeing for ages 4 and up. Children under 6 must be accompanie
 d by an adult.<br />Kids on the Canal Snowshoe Treks will offer your child 
 and you, the opportunity to experience health, history and nature while exp
 loring the Oswego's winter wonderland, canal-side. Licensed Guide, Jennifer
  will offer instruction, techniques and a guided trek on the greenspace loc
 ated on the Oswego Canal between Lock 7 and Lock 8. <br />Children should w
 ear snow pants, warm winter boots, gloves, hat and bring along a scarf or f
 ace covering of sorts. Adults should dress similarly although snow pants ar
 e not necessary if you don't own a pair. <br />Depending on the weather con
 ditions, we will trek about for no more than an hour. Participants can warm
  at the Oswego Tea Company after our trek and enjoy hot cocoa or a warm lun
 ch if desired at their own expense.<br />Cost includes snowshoes, guide and
  instruction- $5.00 per child and $10.00 per adult. Reservations must be ma

 available behind Simeon Dewitt Apartments in the public lot on the Oswego C
