Lee White Maritime Museum will open its doors fr ee of charge to all Museum Day ticketholders on Saturday September 22, 2018 as part of Smithsonian magazine’s 14th annual Museum Day, a national celeb ration of boundless curiosity in which participating museums emulate the fr ee admission policy at the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington DC-based mu seums.

Museum Day represents a nationwide commitment to access, equal ity and inclusion. Over 250,000 people downloaded tickets for last year’s e vent, and Museum Day 2018 is expected to attract more museum goers than eve r before.
