The Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers will be celebrating and hosting their 40th annual Pageant of Champions on September 22nd at Joe Wilber fiel d.

Five bands will be competing at this year’s Pageant including Indi an River, Auburn, East Syracuse-Minoa, East Irondequoit and Oswego. Tickets are $9 at the gate or $7 presale from any band member. Gates will open at 5:00 pm and the show starts at 6:30 pm. Oswego will perform at 7:22pm.

< p>This year the 2018 Oswego show is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet with a futuristic twist. ROM-eO and Juli-8 focuses on three core elements of Shake speare’s tragic love story: conflict, two wire crossed lovers, and their un timely demise.

Imagine two digital lovers, running two different oper ating systems, where their love is simply incompatible. By defying the code they have been programmed to follow, love turns into destruction and the e ntire network results in a system failure.
