 iter’s competition held every open mic. Winners will perform at the Music H
 all’s Season Finale Emerging Artist Showcase to be held in May. Admission i

  Budding performers, singer-songwriters and musicians of all genre are give
 n an opportunity to perform in a supportive environment using cutting edge 
 professional sound and lighting equipment.\nBeing a veteran and friend of t
 he music scene, Larry Kyle has performed over the course of six decades sta
 rting in 1977! He has released five original albums in his brother’s-based 
 blues group, DAMDOG. That is over seventy-five self-penned songs and has wr
 itten hundreds more. Not only performing live with his band, he does justic
 e to an acoustic solo and duo act in which he incorporates guitar, harmonic
 a, vocals, foot percussion, slide guitar, kazoo and more to create a unique
  live show! With over 190 dates a year under his belt, his passion still bu

 nson. Open Mics are held on the Friday night prior to Saturday’s National S
 tage concert.\nThe spring season continues with Joe Henson opening for Open
  Mic on April 14. Steve Watson leads off the 28th.\nThe Oswego Music Hall v
 enue is located in the McCrobie Civic Center, on 41 Lake Street in Oswego, 
 and is wheelchair accessible. It is adjacent to Breitbeck Park and overlook
 s Lake Ontario and the Oswego Harbor. The atmosphere is intimate with candl
 e-lit tables surrounding a small stage. Light refreshments will be availabl
 e.  \nOswego Music Hall is a family-friendly, non-profit organization that 
 has been run entirely by volunteers from its inception over 40 years ago. V
 olunteers can earn admission to shows through various tasks. Students can a
