  margin-right: auto;" /></p><p>Rice Creek's Canal Forest Restoration Projec
 t is hosting a&nbsp;<strong>free bare-root tree seedling giveaway</strong>&
 nbsp;this October! Seedlings are approximately 8-12" tall.</p><p>Giveaways 
 will be Friday, Oct 27 from 4:30–7 pm, and Saturday, Oct 28 from 10 am – 1 
 pm (while supplies last).</p><p><strong>Individuals can take home as many t
 rees as they can plant</strong>. Species include white oak (<em>Quercus alb
 a</em>), swamp white oak (<em>Q. bicolor</em>), and tupelo (<em>Nyssa sylva
 tica</em>). Some white pine (<em>Pinus strobus</em>) may also be available.
  These lovely native trees thrive in a variety of conditions and provide ma
 ny benefits to wildlife and people.</p><p class="desc_bigger">About the Can
