Join us this summer to lea rn through play at our popular school break drop off program sponsored by N ovelis. Offered Monday through Friday from July 8- August 23 from 9:00 – 3: 00 (drop off 8:45-9:00), these sessions are best for children ages 4-9 year s.
Children will learn, create and experiment, honing their problem-s olving, communication, cognitive, and social skills, and will also have amp le time for open play in the museum exhibits. Sign up for one week or all s even! Children will bring their own water bottle, lunch, and small snack.
July 8 – 12:
Ocean Explorers & Shark Week
Is it a great white shark, a hammerhead or a tiger shark? Come and find out with us as we dive into shark week and discover the ins and o uts of the ocean’s biggest predators as we explore the sea in this fun inte ractive camp. Our divers will also learn about other types of sea creatures , real and mythical, that inhabit different bodies of water, the ocean’s an cient history, its current condition, and its future.
July 1 5 – 19:
Messy & Wild Science Lab
U nleash your inner mad scientist with mind-blowing experiments, wacky invent ions, bubbling potions, colorful reactions, and mounds of sticky ooey gooey fun. Learn about how chemical reactions work as we are bound to get slimed !
July 22 – 26:
Alien Architects Workshop
Be prepared to go beyond our earthly realm as we explore the galaxy and beyond. We will discuss planets, build your own solar syste m either real or imagined, and design your own alien planet and creature as we explore the universe and beyond.
July 29 – August 2:
Archaeology Adventures
Explorers de lve into our prehistoric past as they visit ancient civilizations and trave l even further back to learn about some of our favorite dinosaurs, includin g experiencing an archaeological dig and fossil find, as they re-discover t he mysterious lives of dinos and the scientists that study them. This will be a jammed packed camp full of fun.
August 5 – 9:
Immerse yourself in a fusion of fibers, textiles, colors, and creativity! Experience crafti ng tote bags, tie dye wonders, braided bracelets, & dream catchers . Explore the traditional Japanese art of Kumihimo and let the creating beg in! Join us as our imaginations soar when we weave a summer of memorie s!
August 12 – 16:
Creepin it Real: A Garden S afari
As we buzz into this adventure, budding garden ers will learn the secrets of seed planting, the art of composting, and the dance of pollinators. As we learn about the life cycle of plants, we’ll cr aft personalized plant markers and pots, and explore the world below the gr ound, including bugs and habitats.
August 19 – 23:
Artistry Unleashed
Pablo Picasso said tha t “Every child is an artist,” Join us on an artistic journey as we explore some of the greats and unleash their creativity using paint, pastels, and c lay and discover new techniques like tessellations, 3-D drawing, and parabo lic art. Be sure not to miss this one as we create our own gallery of great ness!

Your $100.00 deposit secures your child’s spot for the program. Reservations th at are canceled within 6 weeks of the start date will be fully refunded. Wi thin 6-2 weeks prior to the start date the deposit will be 50% refunded. Tw o weeks or less before the start date the deposit will not be refunded. The remainder of the balance will be due at the beginning of the first session .
