 er 14th at 7:00 pm!</p><p>The 114 Reserve and the Art Scene are collaborati
 ng for an incredible night of one-act plays in a cozy cafe setting!</p><p>A
 nd we will not only have plays, there will be live acoustic Christmas songs
  played during intermission!</p><p>"A Family Affair" by Olivia Murphy is ab
 out an estranged daughter, Maggie, who returns home to be with her dying fa
 ther, Paul. As Maggie attempts to reconnect with her mother, Gertrude, tens
 ions rise between them as they navigate past resentments. When Paul deliver
 s a cryptic message from his deathbed, Maggie and Gertrude must decipher it
 s meaning and confront an unexpected truth.</p><p>"I Should Go" by Anton Po
 rcari explores the fraught relationship between a dying mother, Fran, and h
 er daughter, Ruta. Through tense conversations, the play reveals deep-seate
 d resentment and misunderstanding. As Ruta seeks closure, Fran remains mani
 pulative. Dr. Count Murdor, Ruta's psychiatrist, offers both practical and 
 surreal advice. It all seems real to Ruta, but is it?<br />(Note- this play
  examines issues of mental health and substance abuse)</p><p>Support local
