LOCATION:Rice Creek Field Station
URL;VALUE=URI:https://iloveoswego.com/events/57431/guided-nature-walk-through-rice-creek.
 html?tmpl=component
DESCRIPTION:\nLet Rice Creek's naturalists be your guides to exploring the fields, fore
sts, and wetlands of Rice Creek Field Station. With March's variable weathe
r, we'll explore what we find on the landscape, including signs of lingerin
g winter like animal tracks, early signs of spring like emerging wildflower
s, and animals active year-round like resident birds. Walks last approximat
ely one hour and traverse fairly flat terrain. Please dress for tick protec
tion. Sturdy, waterproof shoes or boots are recommended.\nThe topic, durati
on, and terrain level can all be customized to the group's needs and intere
sts. Families with young children are encouraged to join -- our naturalists
, current and retired school teachers, are skilled at engaging and inspirin
g young people in nature.\n This event was imported from: https://iloveoswe
