 son on Sunday, October 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Oswego 
 Public Library at 120 E. Second St. in Oswego. The event is free and open t
 o the public.\nGuest lecturer Roy Reehil will present a program based on th
 e book he co-authored entitled “Adirondack Adventures: French Louie and His
  Biographer.” Reehil is the owner of The Forager Press, LL and Adirondack- 
 Books.com. He is the 5th District Legislator for Oswego County, representin
 g the town of Constantia. He is president of CASART, the Central Adirondack
  Search and Rescue Team. He is also a crew boss, wilderness first responder
  and tracker for the team.\n“Mr. Reehil's presentation will focus on newly 
 discovered 1919 -1924 photo-journals of Harry Dunham, the biographer of Fre
 nch Louie," said Justin White, president of the historical society. "This i
 ntriguing story will share the life and adventures of French Louie and his 
 biographer." \nFrench Louie was an Adirondack guide, trapper and woodsman d
 uring the late 19th and early 20th century. He was considered a hermit and 
 died in 1915. His biographer Dunham wrote a book published in 1952. Royhill
  will present a slide show depicting images highlighting his research. He w
 ill also display various artifacts connected to this story.\nThe Oswego Cou
 nty Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preser
 vation and promotion of the rich history of the county. The society maintai
 ns and operates the Richardson-Bates House Museum, a historic landmark list
