DESCRIPTION:\nCornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County (CCE Oswego) will be holdi
 ng a free outdoor vegetable garden workshop for beginners on Thursday, May 
 21st from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This educational program is sponsored by the 
 CCE Oswego Master Gardener Volunteer Program in partnership with Schneider-
 Shineman Community Garden. The event will be held at the newly built Schnei
 der-Shineman Community Garden located at Faith United Church, 12 Mark Fitzg
 ibbons Dr., Oswego, NY 13126.\nPresenters will be Linda Shurr and Pat Main,
  Master Gardeners for CCE Oswego County. During the workshop, attendees wil
 l be able to tour the community garden and learn how it all got started. To
 pics will include soil preparation, weed management, tools needed, seeding 
 and transplanting, raised beds and container gardening, and pest control. T
