DESCRIPTION:\nThis program is open to people of all ages and will focus on bats. These 
 nocturnal fliers can eat up to half their weight in insects a night!\nThis 
 program will begin inside and conclude with an outdoor portion. Participant
 s will discover how bats can navigate their world in darkness. During the w
 alk through the woods, multiple hands-on learning activities will occur. Pa
 rticipants will gain a deeper understanding of bat roosting techniques and 
 how they are part of the food chain in their local ecosystem. The final des
 tination will be overlooking the pond, where time will be spent looking for
  any bats flitting about.\nThis program offers a unique opportunity to deve
 lop a broader understanding of these beneficial mammals. Advanced registrat
 ion is encouraged, as space is limited.\nFee\nJust $4.00 per person and up
