If you're gonna get into couponing, you need to understand the language:

Price Match -- You bring one store's weekly ad to a different store where they match the price and sell it to you for their competitors advertized price.

Overage -- Coupon value exceeds the price of the item being purchased. Some stores let you use the overage towards other purchases.

Stack -- Using more than one coupon for the same item. Usually only allowed when using one manufacturers' coupon along with a store coupon.

vv -- Video Value, which is a coupon available only at the store's website, such as riteaid.com, If you watch a quick video on certain items each week, you get the option to print a coupon for that particular item. These can be stacked with manufacturers' coupons for extra savings!!

UP+ Rewards -- Rite Aid offers UP rewards for certain items throughout the store. When you purchase a certain number of these items, you get dollars off your next purchase. You can ask the cashier to set up your wellness card so that your UP Rewards are printed with your receipt and every time you purchase items with rewards, you will get coupons on the bottom of your receipt that say a specific dollar amount off your next visit.

Catalinas -- Coupons that print out right at the register that the cashier hands back to you with your receipt (Price Chopper and Rite Aid both have them). Some stores accept these coupons even though they say a different stores name on them!

E-Coupons -- Coupons that you load directly to your store loyalty card. When you purchase the product, it will automatically take the coupon off once they scan your card. They can NOT be used along with manufacturers' coupons because even though you don't cut them and bring them with you, they are labeled as a manufacturers' coupon.
