Entry is open to all artists 18 years of age and older, living or working in New York State over the last 2 years. Acceptable media include: drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, photography, digital media, ceramics, and all fine craft. Work previously exhibited at the Oswego Civic Arts Center is not eligible. Work completed prior to 2019 is not eligible. Entries should be appropriate for all ages. More than $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.

Formed in 1990 with the purpose of furthering art appreciation and education, encouraging local artists, and providing cultural enrichment in the Oswego County and Central New York area, the Art Association of Oswego is committed to sponsoring art exhibitions, classes, workshops and seminars for children and adults.
The City of Oswego graciously made the former Quartermaster’s Building at Fort Ontario available for a Civic Arts Center, which houses both the Art Association and the Oswego Players. The Art Association of Oswego, Inc. is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization.
