This year's festival includes music, food, crafts, classic cars, a postal cancelation stamp for the Minetto Fire Department (from 1-3 p.m.), Minetto history, Sheriff's Operation Safe Child, American Legion Post 486. There will also be free ice cream at the Town Hall for children.
The Minetto Fire Deptartment will have their apparatus on display and fire safety information available and will also be hosting a chicken barbecue. A variety of vendors will display their crafts, 
ranging from custom jewelry to woodworking. The Country Cruizers Car Club will exhibit its classic cars.
The highlight of Magic in Minetto will be the annual 1.5 miles recreational canoe and kayak race for individuals and families. Registration forms for the Canoe/Kayak Race can be obtained online, ahead of time, at the town website at www.townofminetto.net
Minetto schedules Magic In Minetto to coincide with the Canal Corporation's canal recreational advocacy, known as Canal Splash, which is Aug. 14.
