Famous Footwear announced today it is hosting a grand opening celebration at their new location in Oswego, New York. The 5,500-square-foot store openned March 9. The store will host a grand opening event on March 19 and will be giving away a free pair of shoes to the first 100 guests. The new store is located in the Oswego Plaza at 140 State Route 104.

“Our decision to open a new store in Oswego was based on a recognized consumer need, and we look forward to delivering a great footwear shopping destination,” said Rick Ausick, president of Famous Footwear.

To celebrate the opening in Oswego, Famous Footwear is hosting an all-day grand opening event on March 19 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Shoppers are invited to experience fun festivities including:

• Free pair of shoes to the first 100 guests who attend the grand opening event
• Drawings from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a chance to win free shoes
• Exclusive offers with purchase, valid for future visits
• Live DJ music

Famous Footwear will continue to host Free Shoe Saturdays with hourly shoe drawings from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday until May 7.
