The H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego is swabbing the decks for a hearty bit of pirate carousing. Brush off your eye patch, grab your parrot, tickets are now available for the final Kids’ Pirate Day set for Wednesday, July 22nd from 10 – noon.

The program is held on the west pier in Oswego’s “Historic Maritime District” at the maritime museum. This will be the last chance for lads & lasses to consort with fellow pirates; land lubbers can throw in with the lot & become pirates for a day.

Pirate garb is strongly encouraged. Enjoy two hours of fun and educational activities including games, music, pirate grub, tours of historic vessels, a scavenger hunt and treasure to take home are just some of the pirating fun. This program is appropriate for ages 2-10 years old.

Tickets are $15.00 per child and $4 for an accompanying adult (ask about member discounts). Contact the Museum at (315) 342-0480 to obtain your golden ticket. Check www.hlwmm.org or facebook.com/hlwmm for details on this and other great programming scheduled for 2015! Be there or walk the plank!
