Oswego County Opportunities Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding and Lactation Friendly NY, in collaboration with The Oswego County Breastfeeding Coalition, hosted this wonderful family-focused event at Breitback Park. The day was dedicated to building a supportive community and creating sustainable support systems for breastfeeding and chestfeeding families.
Attendees were able to share where they feel comfortable breastfeeding within Oswego County on our community board. This resource-sharing activity helps normalize breastfeeding and makes it easier for others to find welcoming public spaces.
Each participant received a cooler bag filled with breastfeeding essentials and had the chance to win prizes like a breastfeeding pillow and a wearable pump. Light refreshments and crafts were also provided, making it a friendly and memorable event for all.
