Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Art Association of Oswego, Inc. proudly announces the return of ART for YOUth – our very popular ultra-low-cost summer art series for children. This is a series of 7 classes, held once per week from July 5 through August 18. Classes are designed and taught by certified art teachers. The cost is a one-time pre-registration fee of $10 per child.
We offer a discount fee of $25 to families with 3 or more children living in the same household.
Registration for this program will be open Monday, June 6. Our on-line form will be available June 6 (watch for a link here and on our home page, http://www.oswegoarts.org/education/art-for-youth-summer-art-series-for-children/ . Spots will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis; payment must be received within 24 hours of submitting the application to reserve your chosen spot(s). Sessions are limited to 20 participants each.
If you are unable to register using the on-line form, please call the AAO at 315.216.6782 and leave your name and phone number. Someone will call to assist you.
Confirming a spot for your child(ren): After completing the on-line form you will receive an email from the AAO that we received your information. A second email will be sent when the fee has been received. This will confirm that your child/ren have a spot in the program.
We ask that parents sign up only children who are truly interested in art classes and can attend at least 5 of the 7 classes, as many classes are cumulative and missing a week makes it more difficult to finish the projects. There will also be a standard of behavior we expect children to comply with. If we have to reprimand your child for misbehaving more than 1 time, we’ll ask you to retrieve your child immediately and he/she will not be able to return to the program for the rest of the summer.
