Tuesday October 28th-Make a day of it at Tyler Art Gallery!

Explore the exhibition All That Remains and take part in two special programs that bring its themes to life.

Maritime Museum Presentation and Art Talk

At 2:20 PM, join Michael Pittavino and Peter Cardone for a talk on the history and visual legacy of the Oswego West Pierhead Lighthouse. Pittavino will guide us through the fascinating history of the Oswego West Pierhead Lighthouse,  highlighting the pivotal events and people that shaped its legacy. Cardone will share the story behind his powerful photo series captured at the Lighthouse—on view now in the exhibit.

Poetry Reading and Art Talk

Then at 4:30 PM, return for a Poetry Reading and Art Talk featuring Dr. Laura Donnelly, Stephanie Pritchard, Albert Abonada, and JR Walsh, who will share original poetry that explores the process of assembling coherence from fragments, memory, and what is left behind.

Following the readings, artist Christopher McEvoy will speak about how he assembles meaning through visual fragments—bridging the poetic and visual threads of the exhibition.

It's a unique opportunity to engage with exhibition through history, image, and language—all in one afternoon.
