We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Fifty years ago Oswego County Opportunities was established as the community action agency for Oswego County with a goal of developing anti-poverty programs that would eliminate the impact of poverty and increase the quality of life in Oswego County.
From its humble beginnings OCO has grown to become a vital resource for Oswego County. Over the past 50 years OCO’s impact has been immeasurable. Today OCO operates on an annual budget of $28 million and provides services to approximately 22,000 people annually in over 60 different programs. Additionally, with a staff of 500 employees, OCO is one of Oswego County’s top ten employers and plays a major role in the economic health of Oswego County.
On November 3 OCO invites community members to join them for its 50th Anniversary celebration, “Giving Thanks for 50 Years.” The event will be held at the Lake Ontario Convention Center in Oswego from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
