Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The River's End Bookstore has been such an important part of the Oswego community for decades now. That is why SUNY Oswego's Literary Citizenship class will be holding a cash mob for the local bookstore. A cash mob is an event that is scheduled at a very specific time in which people are encouraged to attend. The goal is to get as many people in and out with a purchase from the store. A cash mob can bring a single store a week’s worth of revenue in just two hours! Therefore, we are trying to get as many people as possible in the River’s End Bookstore and purchase some books between the times of 4:30pm and 6:30pm. We want the place PACKED! Please, come by, purchase some books (as gifts or for yourself), and help out an amazing local business.
