Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Join us for our second annual Base Camp Oswego! This is a FREE Community Event! This year's adventure will be held at Camp Zerbe in Williamstown, NY.
The event will feature a full day of outdoor and indoor presentations to include orienteering, survival techniques, shelter building, winter camping basics, nature walks, cross country ski treks, snowshoe treks, dog sledding, campfires and even ice fishing. The more adventurous are invited to camp overnight with us.
Several Winter Camping Workshops throughout Oswego County during Jan. & Feb. will be posted under this event for additional education to prepare for the overnight camping portion of the event. All ages and abilities are invited to join us for this free event.
Coffee, hot cocoa, tea, and water will be available in the beautifully restored lodge with an inviting stone fireplace.
Overnight Camping is for youth ages 12 and up accompanied by an adult. Cost for Winter Camping only is a $10 donation per adult.
