Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
It is that time of year! We are holding our auditions for this years USOswego Veteran Benefit! Last year was a great event and we raised enough money to donate $1000 to Clearpath For Veterans, we were able to feed 150 Veterans for FREE, and we sold out! We have bigger ambitions this year and that's where you come in.
Have ever seen yourself as Archie Bunker, Julia Sugarbaker, or a member of the Laugh In troop? For all you pop stars have you seen yourself in ABBA or The Beach Boys? Then you're in luck! We will have all of this and more this year!
The auditions will be held in the conference room of the Canal Commons in Oswego. We will be there on April 17th and 18th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
For the actors, there will be sides provided for you at the audition. If you are wanting to sing then prepare a song of your choice from either the 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s. We will have some tracks for you to sing along with, but you may need to provide your own karaoke track. You can email your tracks to matthewkellygordon@gmail.com.
