Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
OSWEGO COUNTY -- The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), a division of SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, announces driver safety classes. A service of AARP since 1979, the program helps drivers remain independent, safe, and confident on the road.
The AARP Driver Safety course is designed for drivers ages 50-plus; however, all ages are welcome and AARP membership is not required. Upon class completion, drivers may be eligible to receive an auto insurance discount and/or a point reduction through the state Department of Motor Vehicles.
All classes are taught by certified volunteers. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Cost is $25 ($20 for AARP members), payable by check or money order only; cash is not accepted. You must call the class instructor to sign up; no calls after 8 pm.
