FAMILY BOAT BUILDING PROGRAM
The H. Lee White Maritime Museum's annual family boat building program offers you and your family the opportunity to join in on an instructional hands-on program that culminates in a completed boat for your family use. Come join us the weekend of August 11-13, and spend your time building a wooden boat at the Museum's J. Richard Pfund Boating Center. There are three styles of boat to choose from:
9' kayak
9' Dory lark
2' Bevin Skiff (rated at 600lbs)
All materials and tools are included in the price of registration. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required as space is limited, and at least one parent/guardian over the age of 18 must be included in the group and be present. The minimum age of 9 is required due to the level of complexity, and groups must be at least two or more. For more information, contact a Museum representative at 315-342-0480.
