Write a commentThe Oswego Art Association hosted the 19th Annual Lakeside Statewide Juried Arts, featuring Bradley Butleron, juror on Saturday, April 16th.
From 10 am to 1 pm, pieces were displayed at the Oswego Civic Ats Center, from artists all over New York State. While many received honorable mentions, the winner was a piece entitled, “Erin,” created by Dr. Gail Postal from New York, New York.
The piece was created using graphite and oil paint, which created a mix of grey and bright colors throughout.
There were no similarities between any of the pieces displayed, thus making it a well rounded and unique art show . There were photographs, digital paintings, welded pieces, mixed media, fused glass, and acrylic paintings just to name a few. The show continues through April 24th.
