Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The City of Oswego /Youth Bureau will be hosting a Snowman building contest for families! Details as follows:
10:00am- sign in
10:30 am- start building and decorating
12:00pm- Judging starts
You may decorate snowman any way you would like. Bring scarves, hats, buttons, carrots, wigs, spray paint, food coloring, etc..... Judging will be on FUNNIES, MOST ORIGINAL AND BEST DRESSED! There will be 3 prizes for the top 3! Prizes donated by Lee and Kathy Walker, JP Jewelers and Dino's House of Burgers!
Oswego Kiwanis Club will be on site with hot chocolate and Dino's House of Burgers will be on site selling food.
Oswego Lions Club will be the judges for the event.
IHeart Oswego will be official photographers for the event!
THIS IS A BIG PARK SO YOU MAY CHOOSE ANY SPOT YOU WANT! YOU WILL HAVE 1 1/2 HOURS TO BUILD YOUR SNOWMAN. REMEMBER THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT, SO LET'S HAVE SOME FUN! YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER FOR THIS, JUST SHOW UP! PRAY FOR SNOW OR THIS WILL NOT WORK!
