Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Participants must have some clay experience, especially with hand building, to take this class. Class Participants will use hand building techniques such as solid construction, coils, and slabs to construct 1-2 animal or human forms out of clay. For those who have the experience, throwing on the potter's wheel is an additional option. + Age and/or skill level: Adults (ages 16+) + Class size limit: 10 + When: 6 Mondays, March 19 – April 30, 6-9 PM (skipping April 2 – Spring Break) Cost: $190 + $35 materials ( AAO members pay a discount of $133 + $35 materials fee ) This class is instructed by Rebecca Chatterton, who graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in ceramics.
