Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Registration is open for a pair of popular children's four-week STEM programs hosted by the SUNY Oswego Department of Technology and Oswego Technology Student Association (a student organization of SUNY Oswego).
Every Wednesday from Sept. 26 to Oct. 17, STEM 4 Kids invites children in 1st through 3rd grades to engage in exciting hands-on activities focused on the relationships among the different components of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
Running Thursdays from Sept. 27 to Oct. 18, Young Inventors allows children in 4th through 6th grades to explore hands-on activities that interconnect the STEM fields. Both programs will run 6 to 7:30 p.m. on their dates in 213 Park Hall at SUNY Oswego.
Cost for either program is $30 per child ($7.50 per lesson) to help cover the cost of materials, equipment and miscellaneous expenses. The fee will be decreased to $20 for each additional child registered by the same parent/guardian. Advance online registration is required.
