We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Oswego County World War I Commemoration
Free Lecture Series – Sunday, November 18 at 1:30 pm Community Room - Oswego Public Library 120 E. Second Street, Oswego
Guest Speakers – Dan Allen, WW I Commemoration Coordinator & Mark Slosek, Oswego County Historian & WWI Commemoration Chairman.
The program will highlight the many significant projects that have occurred to bring awareness and appreciation of the contributions to the “Great War” history in Oswego County. Projects have included a flag program for individual memorial graves stateside and abroad. The committee planned long-term improvement of historic World War I memorials located in parks of the city of Oswego. The program will also focus on some personal stories of the men that served and made the ultimate sacrifice for peace and freedom around the world.
