The new inductees were celebrated during a ceremony held in the Faust Theatre, where family, friends, and faculty gathered to honor them as they took the NJHS pledge and officially became members of one of the nation's most prestigious student organizations.

The newly inducted members of the Oswego Middle School NJHS include Katie Auler, Shawn Baldwin Jr., Devon Bond, Liam Bond, Audrey Canale, Jiyana Chetney, Emalyn Favata, Claire Fisher, Noah Frost, Mia Gibson, Ricki Gilbert, Claire Hall, Avella Hartmann, Ava Hutchings, Anna Koskowski, Luffy Lin, Ayla McManus, Abigail Mulcahey, Jacob Murray, Alexia Prosser, Nolan Verburg, Sophia Waite, Annaleise Wallace, and Charlise Wiegand.

Principal Amy Godkin commended the inductees for their accomplishments and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

“These young students truly embody what it’s like to be a leader,” Godkin said. “They have demonstrated a deep commitment to their academics, to their peers, and to their community. They are paving the way for others, and we are so proud of them!”
