Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Level 1 Usui Reiki training is open to anyone interested in Reiki and will open the energy channels in the body. The Reiki I class will allow the student to connect to the universal life force energy we call Reiki. You will learn about the history of Reiki, receive an attunement and will learn hands-on Reiki. This will include instruction in the standard hand positions and intuitive positions for hands-on treatment of others and on themselves. At the conclusion of the 8 hours of instruction the student will receive a certificate and will be certified as a Usui Reiki I practitioner. This course costs $100 per person, a $50 non-refundable deposit paid to Amethyst Reiki Services is required to reserve your seat. Class size is limited to 9 students. A Reiki I manual will be provided. If you previoulsy took Personal Energy Management Basics with Amethyst Reiki, the cost of this class is $80.
