Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Join us for the first ever Grand Challenges Makeathon! The makeathon will be similar in concept to a hackathon, but with a wider variety of creative projects encouraged, including but not limited to apps, websites, short films, commercials, product prototypes, podcasts, and more.
Participants will form teams to work on projects focused on solutions to the Grand Challenge of Fresh Water For All. Teams will then give five-minute presentations of their projects and the judges will select the winners.
The winning team will receive a grand prize of $250 to be awarded as Amazon gift cards. Two teams selected as runners up will receive $50 each.
