Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
This 3-day class is intended for older children (ages 12-18) to create a stained-glass mosaic project. Participants will cut pieces of stained glass and attach them to a substrate and then finish with grout to complete a 6×6 inch project. Cost is $25. All tools and materials are supplied. Participants must wear eye protection: prescription eyeglasses suffice, or safety goggles. Instructor will have a few pairs of goggles available, but it’s better to bring your own. No open toed shoes.
Class meets Tues, June 18, 6-9 PM; Thurs, June 20, 6-9 PM; and Sat, June 22, 10-Noon (8 hours of class time).
Where: Laurie Kester’s Studio, located at 334 County Route 89 in Oswego.
Cost: $25 for each child. All tools and materials are supplied.
Instructor: Laurie Cardinali Kester has been a stained-glass artist working professionally in the Oswego area for over 25 years. She is also a retired certified teacher.
Participants must register online using the form below. Class fees may be paid through the registration form using PayPal, or mail a check or money order to: AAO – PO Box 271 – Oswego, NY 13126. Payments mailed to our PO Box must be received at least 7 days before the class starts.
