We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.

  • To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
  • Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
  • You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Juan Gallego, born in Madrid, Spain, is a painting and drawing artist. He earned a BFA (1998) and a PhD (2004) at the Universidad Complutense School of Fine Arts. Currently he teaches Painting Techniques and Illustration at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Fine Arts. He has exhibited his paintings in numerous national and international galleries, venues and art fairs including Galeria Fernando Pradilla (Madrid, Spain), Galería Horrach Moya (Palma de Mallorca, Spain), Galeria El Museo (Bogotá, Colombia), Galería Santiago Echeberria (Madrid, Spain), Galería Gema Lazcano (Madrid, Spain), Galería Moret Art (La Coruña, Spain), Galería Jordi Barnadas (Barcelona, Spain), Central Academy of Fine Arts at Beijing (China), ARCO (contemporary art fair, Madrid), KIAF (International Korean Art Fair, Seoul)), ARBO (Contemporary Art Fair Bogotá, Colombia), ArtMadrid, Arte Santander (Spain) or Artexpo (Barcelona, Spain).

He has published several comic-book short stories and lately in Nov. 2018, a graphic novel, Como si Nunca Hubieran Sido, about the Immigration tragedy in the Mediterranean Sea. This Graphic Novel, which currently is at its 3rd edition, has received an award at the Splash Sagunt ComicCon (Valecia, Spain) and has been presented in many different cities of Spain. Currently he is working on his next Graphic Novel. (The Plague)
