Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
This event also goes from 1:30-2:15. This is a project done by the fifth grade students at FLS. It happens every year on Halloween as a way to make the day educational and fun! Tom Wiegand and Jamie Turtura create a “wax museum “ in their classrooms for the students to present about a person on history. The students’ are in full costume and the rooms are set up to look like museums The teachers do an amazing job transforming the classroom into a space that easily passes for a museum. The students do an impressive job recreating and acting like a wax statue. The entire building comes to the wax museum. It is an event that is looked forward to every year. This is so last minute, but if you have anyone who could cover this story, it will be worth your while and help spread positivity in our community about our schools. I’d like to forward the “Invitation” that is sent out to the school, the administration and board members. How would I go about doing so? Thanks for you time and I truly hope you can make it!
