Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
You know it as the "Banquet", but it's still the same great event....well actually it's better! This year the event will include 41 raffle baskets, a silent auction and light fare! Doors open at 5pm. From 5-6:30 you can ooh and ah over the raffle baskets and auction items, grab some light fare and catch up with friends.
At 6:30 the program starts. We have speakers that include Amy Stolp who will tell us about the choice she made years ago when she had an unplanned pregnancy. Then you will hear from some of our wonderful Peer Counselors AND their clients, who want to share their stories of how the Family Resource Center has made a difference in their life! Last we will hear from Lori Kehoe of New York State Right to Life, who will let us know what is going on in Albany and how we can facilitate change in our state. As our theme says this year "RISE UP and take courage!"
