Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Photographs from amateur and professional photographers will be on exhibit showcasing the diversity, beauty, behavior and habitats of the Finger Lakes’ bird life. The exhibit at the Sterling Nature Center will be open daily throughout the Festival from 10am-3pm as well as before and after other scheduled events. Photographers sharing their view of birding in the Finger Lakes include: Dianna Whiting, Susan DiCriscio, Joe Carey, Eric Weaver, Betsy Berglund, and Michele Schneider. A meet the photographer reception is being planned for noon on Sunday March 29 to help close out the Festival.
Funds raised during the Finger Lakes Birding Festival will go to the Friends of Sterling Nature Center’s “Join Our Flock” capital campaign.
