This year’s SAFE Fair will be held again at the Oswego Elks Lodge at 132 West Fifth Street in Oswego. Plan to spend the afternoon with us on Sunday, April 24th from Noon to 5 pm.

This is a free family event, held annually by the VOW Foundation. Browse the many exhibits, learn about different types of drugs, what addiction looks like, how to talk to your family, how to help others, where to find treatment, options for treatment and support, alternatives to drugs and hope for recovery. Learn from professionals, family members and those in recovery.

The event will feature activities for all ages, free games with prizes, prize drawing entries for coloring and bookmark designing, as well as free face-painting and balloon twists. New alcohol and marijuana simulation activities will be provided by Bob Lighthall of STOP DWI team. Again this year, entries for a large prize will be available to those 21 and under who visit a number of exhibits. Food will be available to purchase from the Elks Lodge. Speakers are being lined up for a well-rounded day of education, activities and fun for the whole family.

The VOW Foundation would like to thank the sponsors of this year’s event, which include Farnham Family Services, EJ Construction Group, Inc., Pathfinder Bank, Oswego Elks Lodge and News Channel 9.
