We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Jesse Mockrin visits as part of a series of visiting professionals talking about their work, careers, and experiences "making it" in the arts. Mockrin received her MFA from the University of California, San Diego in 2011, and her BA from Barnard College, New York in 2003. She has had solo exhibitions at Night Gallery (Los Angeles), Nathalie Karg Gallery (New York), and Galerie Perrotin (Seoul). Her work is in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the Rubell Family Collection, among others.
