AAO Children's Class: Art for YOUth!
Wednesday, July 23, 2014, 08:00am - 02:30pm

The Art Association of Oswego is pleased to announce that we will hold our very popular "ART for YOUth!" educational series during the summer of 2014.

Classes will run on Wednesdays beginning July 9th and ending August 20th. The primary instructors will be Sandra Dowie in the Ceramics Shop and Bill DeMott in the Painting and Printmaking Shops.

Schedule is as follows:• ages 3-7 yrs. 9-10:30 AM• ages 8-12 yrs. 10:30-12:30 PM• teens 1:30-3:30 PM

The Art for YOUth! program is free and is limited to 20 youth per age group; all students will get time with all art mediums being taught. This is a first come first serve program, and pre-registration is required. Class participants are expected to attend at least 5 of the 7 classes because many projects require more than one class period to complete. If you can't commit to this number of classes (due to sports games, vacations, whatever...), please refrain from registering so someone who can meet the attendance requirements can sign up. Thank you.

To register, contact Jackie Neveu via Info@OswegoArts.org. You'll need to provide your name, address, andphone number along with the name(s) & age(s) of the child(ren) you want to register for the series. Jackie will respond to your e-mail to confirm whether or not you've been accepted to the program.

The ART for YOUth series is part of the AAO Outreach Program, which is generously funded with grants from CNY Arts of Syracuse (formerly Cultural Resources Council) & PathFinder Bank.

Location : Art Association of Oswego, Inc., Fort Ontario Complex, Building 30 (North end of E. 4th St.)
