The iHeart Community Calendar
Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

RCA Reflections are invited talks about ecology and the environment, free and open to all to join. This talk will be delivered in a hybrid format: in-person at Rice Creek Field Station or via Zoom (see Dial-In Instructions below).
Spending time in nature has countless health benefits, not only for physical health but for mental health. Nature can heal us and teach us lessons to help us navigate our lives. Learn how improving your connection to nature can impact your mental health. Counselor Cory Brosch will introduce mindfulness-based ecotherapy techniques to gain new perspectives on personal issues, decrease stress, and increase appreciation for our world and ourselves.
Weather permitting, this talk will include a hands-on ecotherapy exercise.
Cory Brosch, MS is a licensed mental health counselor and National Board Certified Counselor. She is certified in mindfulness-based ecotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. She is a counselor and training coordinator at SUNY Oswego Counseling Services.
