Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County will be hosting an informational meeting about NEWA weather stations and the potential benefits they can provide farm operations in Oswego County.
NEWA stands for Network for Environment and Weather Applications and is a weather station platform run by Cornell University and the NYS Integrated Pest Management Program. NEWA collects weather data from weather stations primarily located on farms and generates real-time weather data summaries, crop production tools, and integrated pest management (IPM) forecasts.
Dan Olmstead, Senior Extension Associate for Cornell University, will be leading an informal, round table discussion about NEWA weather stations with a Q&A session. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required, and seating is limited. To register, please contact Joshua Vrooman, Agriculture Educator, at jwv33@cornell.edu or 315 963-7286 ext. 200.
