Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Lakeside Artisans continues its tradition of hosting a variety of creative visual artists to demonstrate their materials, techniques, and processes on Thursdays at the Oswego Farmers' Market.
Aug. 7: Michele Southgate demonstrates her use of fibrous and textured papers in her mixed media artwork.
Aug. 14: Cindy Schmidt talks about her Cranky Cat Collection and demonstrates how she creates her art.
Aug. 21: Carol Burghart demonstrates her watercolor painting techniques.
Aug. 28: Carl Patrick demonstrates woodcarving tools and techniques, specifically on how he creates his Celtic knots.
Lakeside Artisans is open Mon-Sat from 10am to 6pm, Thurs from 10am to 8pm, and Sunday 12pm to 4pm.
